Company: Rossington All Saints Academy is a secondary school for children 11-16 located in Rossington, Doncaster.
The brief: To oversee the refurbishment of the school’s teaching staff welfare facilities, updating the design and appearance to create a more pleasant and welcoming space.
Project duration: Two weeks
Rossington All Saints Academy, part of Delta Academies Trust, needed a trusted partner to manage a full revamp of an essential staff toilet area and turned to Signum FM to manage the project. Here, we find out more about the work involved:
The experienced Signum team worked with the client to design the colour scheme and layout before embarking on the strip out of existing cubicles, vanity units and sanitaryware.
Work also included full plumbing upgrades, the installation of new sanitaryware, cubicles and vanity units as well as adding new polysafe flooring, decoration and lighting upgrades to LED.
The end result was an aesthetically pleasing facility with better hygiene and functional upgrades providing a safer and healthier environment for staff.
Emma Harvey, finance and facilities manager at the school, said: “This is our first project working with Signum and we have been really pleased with the service they have provided. The team were professional, reliable and pleasant to liaise with.
“I’d really recommend them to others because, as well as offering a great service, Signum also provided good value for money compared to other contractors and delivered a high standard of work from start to finish.”
Jill Wood, MD at Signum said: “Over the years we have developed some really strong working relationships within the education sector and Rossington All Saints Academy is fast becoming one of those. We really enjoyed working in their school environment to help enhance and improve facilities for the hard working staff.
“We handed over the fully refreshed facilities within the specified timeline and budget which we hope will be a welcome boost to teaching staff at the school. We look forward to working with Emma and the team in the future.”
